The South Pacific Passive House Conference is returning to Australia in 2018, after a successful event in Christchurch in 2017.

Co-hosted by the Australian Passive House Association (APHA) and the Passive House Institute of New Zealand (PHINZ), the conference will be held in Melbourne from May 3–7, 2018.

Energy-efficient construction has never been so easy – and this is due to the increasing availability of suitable components. The key focus at the South Pacific Passive House Conference in Melbourne will be on the latest developments in the local market, to both develop suitable products and methodologies, and to build capacity and utilise existing methods of construction.

The conference will be held on Friday, May 4 and Saturday, May 5, with workshops, masterclasses and site tours proposed on the days before and after.
A gala dinner on Friday night will showcase the best of Melbourne, to be held at an iconic location and attended by many of the Conference delegates.
