GENERAL Australia (formerly Fujitsu General Australia) has announced Philip Perham is departing his role as Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand. Sachio Inami, Head of Oceania, is to become the senior point of contact for Australia.
During nearly 27 years with the business, Perham played a significant role in the growth and development of GENERAL Australia. He has overseen a period of sustained growth, strengthened the company’s partner network, and helped establish the company in the Australian market.
Inami says Perham’s leadership, commitment, and industry expertise helped shape the business.
“He has built strong relationships with our partners, customers, and employees, and has played an important role in positioning the company for future success,” he says.
The transition comes as GENERAL Australia continues its evolution following the acquisition of Fujitsu General Limited by Paloma Rheem Holdings Co., in August 2025.
The company says it remains committed to delivering reliable air conditioning solutions backed by strong local support while continuing to invest in future growth and innovation.
“We will continue to focus on innovation, energy-efficient air conditioning solutions, customer care, and supporting our nationwide network of partners,” says Inami.
