Nominations are open until Saturday, May 30, for the 2026 REDARC Young Technician of the Year Award.

Australian electronic equipment manufacturer REDARC is offering a $5,250 prize for the 2026 REDARC Young Technician of the Year Award. The winner will be announced at Wire & Gas, being held in Brisbane from July 31 to August 2.
The award is open to Vehicle Air-conditioning Specialists of Australasia (VASA) members (or those working in VASA member businesses) under 30 years of age, to celebrate their contributions in the automotive industry.
REDARC managing director Anthony Kittel says the award recognises young people’s efforts and the knowledge and experience they have been gaining in the industry.
The winner will receive $5,250 in retail value of REDARC items of their choosing; along with a fully funded ticket to Wire & Gas.
