2026 EEC Award winners
The 2026 Energy Efficiency Council (EEC) Awards winners were announced at a gala dinner during the EEC National Conference (May 27–28 in Sydney).

The EEC Awards recognise excellence in energy efficiency, electrification and demand flexibility.
Now in its thirteenth year, the organisation says the the quantity and quality of entries for this year’s awards was outstanding.
“The judges had a difficult time deciding the winners, which is a testament to the transformative work of the people and organisations working in energy management across the Australian economy,” the EEC said in its media statement.

The winners included –
- EEC Champion of the Year: Carlos Flores
- EEC Young Champion of the Year: Tom Coad
- EEC Inclusion Champion of the Year: WA Energy Ahead Program
- EEC Life Fellow: Dr Mary Stewart
- Efficient Electric Homes Market Leadership Award: All Electric Homes, Scaling Council-led Electrification Across Australia
- Productive Net-zero Businesses Market Leadership Award: Oceana Property Partners & Delta Q, West Block – Heritage building NABERS 5.5 star refurbishment
- Optimised Energy Systems Market Leadership Award: Climatech Zero, Compressed-air-as-a-service-model
- Energy Management Government Program Leadership Award: Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU), Electrifying Victoria
- Energy Management Government Program Leadership Award: Yarra City Council, Climate Safe Rooms and Yarra Home Energy Upgrades.
