ARC introduces instant licence renewals

The Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC) has implemented a new automated licence renewal process designed to streamline applications.

The Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC) has implemented a new automated licence renewal process designed to reduce the amount of time required to complete a licence renewal application.

“For licensed technicians whose details have not changed since obtaining their current licence, this process saves them from having to check and confirm each detail separately,” says ARC Chief Executive Officer Glenn Evans.

“The new system can save up to two weeks in processing time so technicians can get on with their business and are not waiting for their renewal to come through.”

Evans says the new automated process does not equate to fully automatic licence renewal.

“It’s not an automatic process where people will have to opt out if they don’t want or need to renew,” he says. “It’s a streamlined process for the benefit of those who do want to renew.

“[The] ARC is committed to excellence in customer service and responding to issues and suggestions raised by technicians. This new licence process reduces the time and effort required for administrative tasks, so technicians can get on with the job of earning a living and helping to protect the environment.”
