The Australasian Renewable Heat Conference
The Australian Alliance for Energy Productivity (A2EP) is hosting the Australasian Renewable Heat Conference in Melbourne on September 2–3, 2026.

Now in its third year, the conference will showcase renewable heat case studies from industrial and commercial end-users; along with sessions on research, funding and finance, and navigating regulations and policies.
A2EP says the conference is gaining momentum as “the most action-focused event for industrial and commercial decarbonisation”.
Some of the speakers will include:
- Nova Franklin, Principal Strategic Designer at NABERS
- Max Ploumis, National Engineering Manager at DirectEnergy Australia
- Andy Bedford, General Manager at Ecogas
- Carolina Bedocchi, Researcher, Industrial Transformation at Ecco
- Vanessa Graham, Net Zero Manager at Monash University.
The exhibition area will also include 35 exhibitors displaying renewable heat solutions.
The conference is being held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. For more information and to register, please click here.
