Reliable Controls has appointed Jason Duncan, Affil.AIRAH, as its new marketing manager, where he will lead the team to develop and execute impactful marketing strategies.
Duncan joined Reliable Controls in 2018 as the regional sales manager for Australasia. He has experience in building automation and sales, as well as expertise in HVAC&R and the Reliable Controls brand.
Reliable Controls says his strong relationship-building skills will be integral to guiding the marketing team to deliver data-driven marketing programs and campaigns.
Vice president of marketing and communications at Reliable Controls, Cameron Lutz, says the company is thrilled to announce Jason’s appointment to the marketing team.
“His wealth of experience and innovative vision align perfectly with our mission, and we’re confident his leadership will drive continued growth and success,” he says.
Duncan says he started his career as an HVACR apprentice in Sydney in 1997, gaining invaluable experience at Lithgow Power Station, Wollongong University, and other large sites while working with Thomas Clarke Airconditioning. He then worked on Hamilton Island and in Western Australia’s mining industry, where he completed his electrical trade qualification.
“My career took an exciting turn when I moved to London and combined my electrical and HVACR trades to become a Building Automation specialist with Siemens,” he says.
“This field perfectly blended my passion for computers and HVAC mechanical systems, and I have been dedicated to it ever since.
“After returning to Australia in 2009, I advanced my career in building automation, holding various management roles in contracting and later in software and hardware production.
“For the past seven years, I have been with Reliable Controls as the Australasia regional sales manager. Now, I am truly grateful and excited to take on this new global role with Reliable Controls.
“I look forward to working with the talented team here to have a positive impact on the people, communities, and environment we live in and work with,” says Duncan.
