NZ venue for international natural refrigerants conference
Early-bird registrations are open for the 2026 IIR-Gustav Lorentzen Conference on Natural Refrigerants (GL 2026), being held at the University of Waikato in Hamilton, New Zealand from August 23–26.

As the need for measures to counteract global warming increases, natural refrigerants have become a vital tool for reducing the CO2 footprint of the refrigeration, heating and cooling sectors.
The IIR-Gustav Lorentzen Conference on Natural Refrigerants will explore innovations based on natural working fluids for applications within refrigeration, air conditioning, heat pumps and heat engines.
The theme is, “Advancing heat pumps and net-zero carbon energy with natural refrigerants”.
Organisers say the conference series aims to advance solutions compliant with the phase-down prescribed by the Kigali amendment to the Montreal Protocol. This, the 17th iteration of the event, will provide the ideal platform for discussing the latest research results and development of alternative natural refrigerants.
Early-bird prices are available until July 10, 2026.
