The Energy Efficiency Expo Virtual Conference 2021 will held as a series of free-to-attend online sessions from October 19–28.
Energy Efficiency Expo is dedicated to the discussion of energy efficiency, energy management and energy productivity in Australia.
“Across seven sessions, the virtual conference will bring together over 40 leading experts to help businesses take control of their energy costs and build greater resilience during these unprecedented times,” say the organisers.
“Working closely with our partner, Energy Efficiency Council, this free-to-attend virtual conference has been curated to deliver the same calibre of sessions as our face-to-face event.”
Sessions include:
- The pathway to net zero – This panel session will discuss climate and decarbonisation in the lead-up to COP26 – what is Australia’s contribution, and the opportunities electrifying the economy will create.
- The next frontier for commercial buildings – How the NABERS Energy rating is evolving, the opportunity for load shaping and demand response in commercial buildings, and the least-cost pathway for eliminating operational emissions and meeting the sector’s ambitious net zero goals.
- Supporting industry to thrive in a net zero economy – insights from governments, business coalitions and not-for-profits working to unlock opportunities for Australian industry in a prosperous, net zero economy.
- Enabling healthy comfortable homes – The policy landscape for new and existing homes and how to support consumers through the transition.
- Renewable energy and the sustainable built environment – This GBCA-hosted session will see experts share their experiences of how renewables are transforming the sustainable built environment.
All-Energy Australia and Waste Expo Australia will also host free-to-attend virtual sessions, and an online product directory will showcase the latest renewable energy products and technologies.
