AIRAH and FMA announce Reshaping Existing Buildings Conference
The inaugural iteration of Reshaping Existing Buildings will take place in Melbourne from June 3–4, 2026.

The Facility Management Association of Australia (FMA) and AIRAH have joined forces to establish the new Reshaping Existing Buildings Conference, which will focus on improving performance within Australia’s building stock.
The landmark event will bring together leaders, experts, and changemakers from across the built environment sector to explore how we can reimagine, retrofit, and revitalise existing buildings for a sustainable, high-performance future.

AIRAH Head of Conferences, Events and Business Development Marie Karekla says the event shines a spotlight on an important aspect of HVAC&R and building services.
“The future of our built environment depends on collaboration, creativity and courage,” Karekla says. “We’re thrilled to bring you a conference that puts all three at the heart of the conversation.”
“Transforming existing buildings isn’t just a goal – it’s a movement. We’re proud to bring you a conference where innovation meets action.”
