RectorSeal acquires MARS Parts
HVAC&R and plumbing manufacturer RectorSeal has announced its acquisition of MARS Parts.

Under the deal, RectorSeal has acquired MARS Parts and its associated brands, including Global, the Source, and MARS Parts’ accessories division. The strategic acquisition was announced in October and finalised on Tuesday.
Founded in 1946, MARS is a supplier of motors, components, and service parts for the HVAC&R aftermarket. The addition includes MARS Parts’ universally replaceable motors, along with electrical components such as capacitors, relays, and contactors. According to RectorSeal, MARS also brings US-based manufacturing capabilities and long-standing partnerships with key producers.
With more than three decades in the industry, the Global brand has introduced products such as the Turbo200 Universal capacitor and AmRad capacitors, manufactured in Palm Coast, Florida. The company has also developed the CPT compressor protection technology.
“We’re thrilled to welcome MARS Parts to RectorSeal,” says RectorSeal President Jeff Underwood. “The investment will give us a significantly expanded line-up of HVAC&R electrical products, allowing us to meet the needs of distributors and contractors better.”
