The Green Building Council of Australia’s fifth annual TRANSFORM conference is slated to take place over March 22–23, 2023 at the Hilton Sydney and as a hybrid event.

The gathering has been described by the GBCA as the industry-leading event at the forefront of the sustainable built environment.

“Change is critical,” say the conference organisers. “TRANSFORM returns in 2023 to enable industry to rethink the norm and push harder for impact at scale.

“TRANSFORM 2023 will be delivered as a hybrid event, which will combine a full in-person, two-day conference with live-streaming, and additional online content over the following week – so you can access TRANSFORM wherever and however suits you best.”

Topics to be explored at the conference include decarbonisation, nature and biodiversity, electrification, low-carbon materials, circularity and more.

Featured speakers include Buildcorp Principal Josephine Sukkar AM, GPT Group CEO Bob Johnston, Blackstone Real Estate’s Nina James, Roberts Co CEO Alison Mirams, Pollination MD Wendy Mackay, and Charter Hall Office CEO Carmel Hourigan.

“Our agenda will challenge the status quo,” say the organisers, “and set out what effective collaboration must and should look like. Be at the forefront of change. Be at TRANSFORM.”
