National Tradie Day
National Tradie Day on Friday, September 18, celebrates and spotlights the skilled individuals and essential businesses across the trades sector.

The day serves to highlight the (often unseen) contribution that trades people make to Australia.
CEO of Kennards Hire Bill Whitehouse says tradies are the people that keep our country ticking along.
“Their skills, problem-solving advice and hard work, day and night, not only keep our homes and businesses functional but also drive economic and community growth,” he says.
“National Tradie Day is a perfect opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate their invaluable contributions.”
According to CEIC data, the trades sector contributes approximately $100 billion annually to the Australian economy, with over 1.9 million Australians working in a trades role.
Although the event started in the USA, it’s rapidly picking up momentum in Australia. It allows businesses to promote their services and highlight their accomplishments for the year.
