The International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR) is hosting the 26th IIR International Congress of Refrigeration (ICR 2023) in Paris on August 21–25, 2023. The IIR is now calling for abstracts.
The event will be organised by the French Association of Refrigeration (AFF) and will have the theme “Towards efficient, controlled and smart refrigeration”. The organisers aim to reunite key international stakeholders and provide perspectives on the future of the industry, in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Industry is invited to submit abstracts under the following key themes:
- Cryophysics and cryoengineering
- Liquefaction and separation of gases
- Thermodynamics and transfer processes
- Refrigerating equipment
- Cryobiology, cryomedicine and health products
- Food science and engineering
- Refrigerated storage
- Refrigerated transport
- Air conditioning
- Heat pumps and energy recovery.
Abstracts of up to 250 words can be submitted by June 29, 2022 via the Congress website.
The IIR Congress takes place every four years, and provides a forum to present and disseminate the results of research, development and innovation.
