Ideas and action at Ideaction.23

Ideaction.23, a national Australian conference and exhibition for facilities management (FM) professionals, is slated to take place over September 4–5 at the Star Gold Coast.

“Facilities management industry professionals will come together to strengthen industry knowledge at Ideaction.23,” say conference organisers, “the only facilities management national conference and exhibition developed by the industry for the benefit of the industry.”

The theme for Ideaction.23 is “Securing our future”, which is designed to set the scene for two days of exploring issues across four streams: The Importance of People, The Value of Space, The Influences of Change, and The Need for Compliance.

“As an employer of over 200,000 people, the facilities management industry contributes over $32 billion annually to the Australian economy,” the organisers say. “And with an ever-changing landscape of technology, materials and regulations, coupled with the need to meet occupiers’ expectations, keeping your skills and knowledge up to date is crucial to unlocking value in the built environment.”
