The fifth International Conference on Energy Efficiency in Historic Buildings is calling for abstracts. The event will be held both online and in person in Singapore, from October 7–8, and organisers are seeking presentations on a variety of topics:
- Energy and sustainability, including software simulations, carbon footprint and embodied carbon
- Intervention strategies, including HVAC, ventilation and IAQ, methods and materials, monitoring and feedback
- Assessment and documentation, including investigation, design and feasibility studies, assessment and measurement, photogrammetry, laser scanning and 3D modelling for simulation
- Training and education, including sustainability of historic architecture, and examples of how to train future experts in energy retrofitting of historic buildings
- Governance, legislation, policy and guidelines, including examples of good guidelines, who, what and how to manage and conserve, and getting the right balance of policy and guidance.
