AIRAH is hosting a webinar on commercial HVAC in a post-COVID-19 world on February 3.
As Australians look to get back into offices and public spaces in 2022, there is now general recognition of airborne transmission and the important role that role that HVAC systems can play in preventing the spread of the virus. But knowledge is still developing on exactly what measures should be implemented.
In this webinar, A.G. Coombs Strategic Development Director Bryon Price, F.AIRAH, will provide an overview of viral transmission, how HVAC systems work, and the practical HVAC operational measures and possible design changes that can be considered to reduce the likelihood of the virus spreading.
Price is non-executive director of AIRAH; a director of ARBS; co-chair of the International WELL Building Institute Task Force on COVID-19 and other respiratory infections; and chair of the board of the Facility Management Association of Australia as well as chair of its Knowledge and Advocacy Portfolio Groups.
The webinar will be held on Thursday, February 3 at 12.30–1.30pm (ACT/NSW/Tas/Vic) | 12–1pm (SA) | 11.30am–12.30pm (Qld) | 11am–12pm (NT) | 9.30–10.30am (WA).
