The Architectural Science Association (ANZAScA) is hosting a free webinar on Thursday, August 19, where four experts will discuss commercial building design in the post-pandemic world.
More than a year into the pandemic, new themes and trends are emerging in the design of commercial work spaces.
The presenters include:
- Julia McPherson
McPherson is a strategist and workplace design specialist, and the co-lead of Warren and Mahoney’s Interior and Workplace Sector. She has built a depth of experience across corporate and government workplaces, and will share her experience about the latest trends in workplace design. - Kate Nason
Nason is environmental engineering firm Atelier Ten’s environmental designer. She is a passionate advocate of high-performance, healthy and resilient buildings. She is a certified Passive House Designer (PHI), Green Star Accredited Professional and Board Director at the Australian Passive House Association. She will explore practical ways of creating workplaces that work harder. - Luke Wilson
Wilson is an associate with the Jackson Clement Burrows Architect. He focuses on the strategic development of projects in the concept design, master planning and schematic design phases. He will speak about changing market needs in the post-pandemic office and the revival of the live-work precinct. - Neil Wypior
Wypior is Director of EVO MEP, a company that delivers prefabricated and modular building services to the construction industry. He entered the world of prefabrication and modular engineering more than 20 years ago, and continually seeks opportunities to gain efficiencies via prefabrication and modularisation in construction. Wypior will provide an insight on prefabrication for building services.
ANZAScA aims to promote architectural science, theory and practice primarily in relation to teaching and research in institutions of higher education. For more information and to register for the webinar, click here.
