The Opira Group recently opened an office in New South Wales, and says it is seeking to expand its service offering to national clients.
The new site adds to existing branch locations in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. It will be managed by Gregor Riese, Affil.AIRAH, who has a background in occupational hygiene with a Master’s Degree in Occupational Hygiene and Toxicology.
Riese has experience working as an environmental planner/project consultant, servicing the waste management and recycling industries. He is an accredited WELL AP, and NABERS Indoor Environment assessor.
“Established in 2002, Opira’s mission is to be a leader in indoor environmental risk management services and products,” says the company.
“Our team of qualified scientists and technicians have completed more than 3,000 risk management projects across Australia. Our customers include health, pharmaceutical, education, defence and commercial buildings.”
The Opira Group is NATA and ISO 9001 certified and is an Australian, privately owned company. It offers NATA asbestos testing and audits, NATA HEPA testing, WELL and NABERS building certification; ultraviolet light disinfection systems, indoor air quality testing, mould remediation, HVAC filters, Flanders containment units, duct cleaning and restoration projects, laboratory cabinets, and the design and construction of clean rooms.
