Fujitsu General Australia has announced that Mark Taylor’s contract as brand ambassador has been extended to 2025, taking the partnership to 27 years.

The agreement was established in 1998 and according to Fujitsu is already one of the longest personal endorsement agreements in Australia.

“Mark has done a terrific job as brand ambassador for Fujitsu General Australia,” says Fujitsu General Australia and New Zealand managing director Philip Perham.

“Mark is a highly respected individual in both the sporting community and the public eye and is well known for his bright personality and values that include being caring and respectful, collaborative and inclusive. These values are identical to those we instil throughout the Fujitsu General family, which made it an easy decision to continue such a great partnership.”

Taylor says he is delighted to be associated with Fujitsu.

“I have thoroughly enjoyed my 24-year association and look forward to its continuation over the next three years. As the chairman of the Sporting Chance Cancer Foundation, I would also like to thank Fujitsu for its extremely generous donations over that past decade, which have assisted many kids and their families throughout Australia.

“I’m looking forward to another cracking few years with Fujitsu.”

In 1996 Taylor became a founding member of the Sporting Chance Cancer Foundation, which was created to help minimise cancer’s impact on families. The foundation has raised millions of dollars since its creation, providing mobile home care units and outreach programs for children with cancer from regional areas.

“Fujitsu General is extremely proud to be a major sponsor of the Sporting Chance Cancer Foundation,” Perham says.

“We have built a CSR program around this partnership and to date we have been able to donate more than $9.5 million to help fund outreach programs and explore better ways to treat and overcome cancer. This program is only one example of Fujitsu General’s growth thanks to our partnership with Mark.”

Taylor’s renewed agreement starts March 1, 2022 and continues through to February 28, 2025.
