Fujitsu General Australia has appointed John Bourke (left) and Alex Turner (right) to national roles that the company says will be instrumental in directing its dealer and commercial channel activity Australia-wide.
Bourke has been appointed to the position of National Commercial Manager. Turner is the newly appointed National Dealer Manager.
“Fujitsu General is eager to make 2022 a year of growth, innovation and customer satisfaction, so it’s important that we attain the best, most experienced professionals to help make that happen,” says Fujitsu General Australia’s Head of Sales Peter Cashel.
“Both John and Alex have been part of the Fujitsu General family for many years, working their way from junior to senior roles in different areas within the business. This gives them an intimate understanding of what our customers want, and what the company needs to achieve targets and build strong industry and customer engagement.”
Bourke first joined Fujitsu General in 2001 as an apprentice and then became an electronics technician before retraining as a refrigeration and air conditioning technician. In 2013, he moved into the Fujitsu Assist team as a Service Manager and in 2015 was promoted to National Product Manager. He left the business for a short time; however, he returned in 2020 as National Dealer Manager.
“John has been an integral part of the dealer channel development and growth since his return,” says Cashel. “I’m very excited for the skills and support he will bring to the commercial team with his product and technical knowledge.”
In 2006, Turner joined Fujitsu General in the internal sales team, progressing to become NSW State Manager in 2014. Turner led the NSW/ACT team to its first $100m year in 2017/18 and earned the Bill Gillet State Manager of the Year Award 2016–2018.
