Opira appoints Vecchio as business development manager

Brisbane-based indoor environment consultancy Opira Group has appointed Jason Vecchio, Affil.AIRAH, as its new laboratory business development manager.

Vecchio, who has a decade of experience working in the scientific industry in customer service, territory management, product management, and now business development roles, says he looks forward to providing a wider range of solutions for customers.

“I’m most excited about the opportunity to help create and expand our presence in the scientific laboratory market, liaising with international manufacturers, building business-to-business relationships, and contributing to the positive culture at Opira,” Vecchio says.

“The new role is quite varied,” he adds. “There is a significant sales component for our existing indoor air quality services and Sanuvox UV disinfection technologies in HVAC, but we’re also building towards premium product and service offerings in the scientific laboratory space.”

Opira Group is an indoor environment consultancy that offers risk management services to HVAC&R businesses and professionals.
