The STEMAZING Inspiration Academy in conjunction with World Refrigeration Day is opening up spaces for women from the Asia-Pacific region to participate in its program.

The STEMAZING initiative is aimed at building the diversity of the science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) workforce.

“To tackle our current and future global challenges we need a bigger, stronger and more diverse STEM workforce,” says STEMAZING founder and CEO Alexandra Knight.  “STEMAZING is dedicated to inspiration and inclusion in STEM.

“Our mission is to empower women in STEM to shine and inspire young people to become our next generation of innovators and problem-solvers.”

One of STEMAZING’s initiatives is the STEMAZING Inspiration Academy. This four-month program is designed to enhance participants’ confidence on camera and increase the portfolio of STEM sessions graduates can deliver.

Conducted online, the program includes webinars, networking, training videos and expert speakers.

At the conclusion of the four months, graduates will be capable of conducting their own four-week online STEMAZINGKidsclub to inspire seven- to nine-year-olds.

“The STEMAZING Inspiration Academy supports women in STEM to excel at public engagement, change outdated perceptions, and leave a legacy by delivering engaging online STEMAZINGKids sessions to inspire the next generation,” STEMAZING says. “Schools and families benefit from this FREE program by taking part in hands-on simple STEM activities and experiments to promote children’s curiosity, creativity and courage led by a woman in STEM role model.”

The program is free to participants.
