The Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB) has announced that NCC continuing professional development (CPD) micromodules are now available for CPD providers to deliver as part of their own activities.

“Our aim is to complement existing programs and increase National Construction Code (NCC) content in education,” says the ABCB. “This will ultimately improve practitioner understanding and achieve NCC compliant outcomes.”

The micromodules are bite-sized products that focus on areas of the NCC with known difficulties and misunderstandings. CPD providers – including RTOs and also other organisations and government entities – can embed this content in their own training format, then issue a CPD certificate to attendees.

At this stage, two micromodules are available: the NCC in building and plumbing regulation, and compliance with the PCA and AS/NZS 3500. More will be added in time.

For more information and to access the micromodules, visit the NCC website.
