Max Duarte named International Committee Chair of IIAR

Max Duarte has assumed the position as Chair of the International Committee of the International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration (IIAR).

Duarte has been an IIAR member for many years, during which time he has served as Vice Chair of the International Committee and presented technical documents at the US IIAR EXPO and various events in Latin America.

IIAR members share their collective knowledge and experience to produce consensus documents that address various aspects of the natural and industrial refrigeration industry.

IIAR is a technical member organisation with industry representation from all facets of the natural refrigeration community, including manufacturers, engineers, contractors, end-users, academics, scientists and trainers.

The Institute advocates for the safe, reliable and efficient use of ammonia and other natural refrigerants.  It provides advocacy, education and the most up-to-date technical information to the ammonia and natural refrigeration community.

Celebrating the Institute’s 50^th anniversary, the 2021 IIAR Natural Refrigeration Online Conference and Virtual Expo will be held from June 21 – 25, 2021.
