Ben Gill, Affil.AIRAH, has been named as Plasma Shield’s new Chief Executive Officer, replacing Dr Chris McGowan.
Originally from the NT but now based in Adelaide, Gill has been involved in the HVAC&R industry for the past five years, previously serving in senior roles with ASX Top 50 real estate companies The GPT Group and Lendlease.
Most recently, Gill was Head of Asia Pacific for Canadian HVAC AI business, BrainBox AI Inc.
“I’m genuine excited about the future of air-decontamination and crucially how it can drop emissions across the globe,” Gill says. “I’m humbled to lead a team of scientists and engineers committed to improving our planet.”
A member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Gill also boasts MBA, CPA and BBUS qualifications, and serves on several boards.
Gill succeeds Dr Chris McGowan, who helmed the business for the past 12 months, leading it through its most recent capital raise and market re-positioning.
McGowan will stay with the firm as an adviser, leveraging his experience in the government and hospital sectors.
