ARBS 2020

ARBS 2020, slated for May 19–21 in Melbourne next year, is already on track to equal the exhibitor attendance for Sydney in 2018. Due to the response from exhibitors, the allocated exhibition floor area has been extended by 1,500m2 to 18,000m2, a new record for Melbourne.

Organisers say the unprecedented demand for space has come from long-term exhibitors such as Daikin Australia, Beijer Ref Australia/ Kirby, Temperzone, Airefrig Australia, Mitsubishi Electric Australia and Panasonic, all of whom have opted for larger stands.

Kirby and Beijer Ref Australia, who are hosting the largest stand at 297m2, are planning a “showstopper presence” at the exhibition.

“ARBS truly is a product of its participants,” says exhibition manager Sue Falcke. “Most of our exhibitors have been supporting ARBS since its inception in 1998 largely because they know ARBS presents a fantastic opportunity for exhibitors to communicate to the industry and their customers and to demonstrate their new technologies.

“Exhibitors at ARBS are finding more unique and inventive ways to broadcast their product and service offerings with stands for the 2020 exhibition already scaling new size barriers.”

The three-day event will showcase the latest industry developments. Visitors to ARBS 2020 can also attend the Speaker Series and IBTech Insight Series, as well as the ARBS Industry Awards Gala Dinner.

“Visitors are in for a bumper show,” Falcke says. “They can expect to connect and network with industry leaders, peers and colleagues, whilst having unrivalled access to the finest quality HVAC&R and built environment suppliers in the southern hemisphere.”
