Updates on professional registration in the ACT

The Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate is hosting two information sessions in February 2025 on the ACT Professional Engineers Registration Scheme.

The Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate is hosting two information sessions in February 2025 on the ACT Professional Engineers Registration Scheme.

From March 6, 2025 it will be mandatory to be registered as a professional engineer in the ACT for those providing services in a prescribed area or areas of engineering.

The information sessions will provide a quick overview of the scheme and focus on the process for registration, including automatic and mutual recognition processes.

The majority of the session will be for Q&A. Questions can be submitted before COB Tuesday, February 4 to [email protected]. This will enable the organisers to ensure questions are answered during the session or in information provided after the sessions.
