TRANSFORM in 2025

The Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) is hosting its annual TRANSFORM conference both virtually and in Sydney on March 19–20, 2025.

The Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) is hosting its annual TRANSFORM conference both virtually and in Sydney on March 19–20, 2025.

The conference will feature local and international experts and decision-makers from the sustainability sector and the built environment. The event will focus on critical priorities such as decarbonisation to nature and transforming existing assets.

The GBCA says the event will “explore how we can connect with people and country and take positive steps to a resilient future”.

Featured speakers include:

  • Monica Barone – CEO, City of Sydney
  • Hans Hammink – Architect Associate, Cie. (Netherlands)
  • Mette Wendel – Symbiosis Facilitator, Kalundborg Symbiosis (Denmark)
  • Marshall Gobuty – Managing Partner, Pearl Homes Florida (USA)
  • Adriana Vergés – Professor in Marine Ecology, UNSW and Sydney Institute for Marine Science (SIMS)
  • Sam Kernaghan – Director, Resilience Program, Committee for Sydney
  • Amanda Steele – Group Executive Head of Property, ISPT
  • Adam Copp – CEO, Infrastructure Australia.

Conference packages are available to attend the event virtually or in-person at the Hilton Sydney. There is also a pre-conference Innovation Forum being held on March 18, 2025.
