The Australian Passivhaus Association is holding a conference on Passivhaus building technologies and methodologies at the University of NSW in Sydney from May 5–6.
The conference aims to demonstrate the importance of well-conceived and consistent action in the building sector for a successful transition to a sustainable energy future.
Hands-on workshops and masterclasses will help professionals deepen their knowledge about Passivhaus principles, and site visits will provide the opportunity to experience the benefits first-hand.
A trade show and exhibition will form part of the conference and will be open to professionals and the general public alike.
Experts from around the world will discuss the potential of good design, while suppliers and manufacturers will demonstrate their practical implementation. The trade show and exhibition aims to provide potential clients and design professionals with advice, information, products, materials, and illustrative models from experts happy to answer questions on how Passivhaus principles can work in Australia’s varied climates.
Registration will be separate for the conference, workshops, gala dinner and site visits.
Conference registration fees include attendance to the conference sessions, catering for the conference day(s), attendee package, and access to the trade exhibition, but do not include attendance at workshops, gala dinner, and site visits.
The conference and trade show and exhibition with be held at the Roundhouse, UNSW, Kensington, Sydney.
