The Energy Efficiency Council is partnering with the Victorian Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) to host the National Energy Efficiency Conference 2022 in Melbourne on May 26 and 27.
The conference will focus on the critical role of energy management as our energy system transitions to net zero, with the major theme “The first fuel for net zero”. The theme reflects the critical roles of smarter energy use as energy systems transform – cutting emissions, reducing bills, maintaining reliability, and keeping buildings healthy.
It will bring together Australia’s foremost energy efficiency and energy management experts, policy-makers, energy users and industry leaders.
The National Energy Efficiency Conference is being held at Pullman Melbourne on the Park this year. As policy and technology are evolving more rapidly than ever, especially with the push towards net zero emissions, this is a timely opportunity to attend the first in-person event Australia’s energy efficiency industry has held since 2019.
The gala dinner to celebrate the National Energy Efficiency Awards will also be held during the conference, to recognise and celebrate excellence in energy management, energy efficiency and demand response across Australia.
