The Innovation Hub for Affordable Heating and Cooling (i-Hub) and AIRAH are hosting the third instalment of the free online knowledge sharing summit in June.

The three interactive webinars will share information on the current i-Hub projects, their progress, and key findings. The sessions bring together leading universities, researchers, consultants, building owners and equipment manufacturers to build a connected research and development community.

AIRAH’s CEO Tony Gleeson, M.AIRAH, says as i-Hub moves into the third and final year, significant developments have taken place – with five of the seven milestones completed.

“This webinar series gives our industry an opportunity to see the progress and share the lessons that have been learnt along the way,” he says.

SESSION ONE: INTEGRATED DESIGN STUDIOS WEBINAR
Tuesday, June 15

This webinar will feature an update on the Integrated Design Studios activities. Discussion will include what has been learned about the interaction between architects and engineers and how best to encourage integrated design. It will also include some building typology design take-aways around zero carbon for data centres, schools, emergency response facilities and aquatic centres.

SESSION TWO: DATA CLEARING HOUSE WEBINAR
Wednesday, June 16

Data Clearing House software is operational, with first applications starting deployment in a range of different buildings. Hear about how the Data Clearing House is progressing and its latest developments.

SESSION THREE: LIVING LABORATORIES WEBINAR
Thursday, June 17

The i-Hub Living Laboratories are now operational for the retirement living, healthcare, and education sectors. The webinar will feature representatives from the University of Wollongong and QUT, discussing Living Labs at Bolton Clarke Fernhill, Queensland Children’s Hospital, Warrigal Aged Care, and schools.
