The Australian Alliance for Energy Productivity (A2EP) is holding a bus tour on Wednesday, November 29 in Kyneton, Victoria to visit some commercial and industrial heat pump installations.
The tour will showcase how heat pump technology efficiently supplies heating and cooling services for a range of applications. Hosted by A2EP CEO Jarrod Leak, the tour will kick off at Hardwick’s meat processing plant, which has installed an industrial heat pump that is integrated into the existing refrigeration plant.
The project features:
- Integration with the refrigeration plant’s oil cooling, desuperheating and condensing systems
- Integration with thermal storage
- Upgraded electrical capacity
- Ammonia-based heat pump achieving hot water over 75°C.
The tour will also visit an aquatic centre to view its electrified heating solution for space, pool and domestic hot water solutions.
Lunch and other refreshments will be provided throughout the day, and tickets cost $490 (+GST) per person for A2EP members or $690 (+GST) for non-members. For more information and to register, please click here.
