The Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) is seeking expressions of interest to attend a workshop about forecasting energy efficiency on Wednesday, March 24.

The workshop is open to stakeholders with knowledge on energy efficiency policies, experience in designing and managing energy efficiency measures, and experience in modelling and quantifying energy efficiency impacts.

AEMO is focused on collaborating with attendees to improve techniques for energy efficiency forecasting.

In forecasting future energy consumption, AEMO considers how changes in the energy performance of buildings, appliances and equipment will contribute to the changing demand profiles, lowering energy bills and reducing emissions.

Research gathered from the event will be published on the AEMO website.

It will be held from 10am–1pm (AEDT) on the Webex platform. Expressions of interest can be registered here.
