ARBS 2022 is fast approaching, with the southern hemisphere’s largest HVAC&R and building services trade show set to open its doors on August 16. And, as it only comes around once every two years, there’s a few key reasons to attend.
Everything under one roof
ARBS organisers say the event is a fantastic opportunity to discover new products and industry innovations, with more than 200 exhibitors set up across the show floor. The event also hosts an Exhibitor Presentation Theatre, where exhibitors lead practical demonstrations on their products. Additionally, all attendees have the chance to win one of five $1,000 Qantas travel vouchers through the scan-and-win competition via the ARBS app.
Connect and network
“After the prolonged absence of in-person events, ARBS 2022 provides the perfect opportunity to network,” say the organisers. “Reconnect face-to-face with customers and colleagues to reaffirm relationships while linking with sellers, buyers, and other industry stakeholders.”
The networking opportunities extend beyond the exhibition hall, with the Seminar Program offering the chance to connect with progressive minds discussing pressing industry topics.
Earn CPD points
Another advantage of attending the ARBS Seminar Program – and the IBTech@ARBS Insight Series – is the opportunity to earn continuing professional development points (CPD).
ARBS’s presentation program features 45 seminars and panels, covering contemporary trends and issues faced by the HVAC&R and building services industry.
“Its vital to ensure industry knowledge and technical skills are kept current,” say the organisers. “You’ll be sure to find a session or two that fits your needs and schedule.”
Registration is required for seminar sessions.
Deepen your industry knowledge
The ARBS Education and Training Hub provides information about industry education and training programs and initiatives, allowing visitors to stay attuned to the latest developments in an evolving industry. A visit to the ARBS Education and Training Hub will enable you to explore and learn more about education and training programs and initiatives.
“You’ll gain an overview of the market and industry, seek out new trends and innovations in training, and see how the industry is tackling pressing issues such as skills shortage,” says ARBS.
Recognise outstanding talent
Finally, the ARBS Industry Awards will recognise the outstanding achievements of individuals and organisations within the HVAC&R and building services industry.
“Get together with your colleagues for a gala night not to be missed, join in the festivities, and celebrate the inspiring talent that advances our industry,” say organisers.
“There is no other event like ARBS that connects industry experts, engineers, contractors and technicians with global product and solution providers within a collaborative environment that promotes business, networking, education, and innovation.”
