The Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO) is hosting the 2021 Collective Impact Summit virtually on Thursday, November 18.
The summit will run from 10am–1.30pm (AEDT) with include four sessions, and aims to identify and acknowledge the actions that are required for Australia to scale up and accelerate progress towards a circular economy for packaging.
In the first session, APCO CEO Brooke Donnelly and Dr Helen Lewis will present the new Collective Impact Analysis report, which will assess Australia’s current progress towards the 2025 National Packaging Targets.
The summit will also feature a series of breakout sessions focused on driving action towards addressing the system performance gaps identified in the Collective Impact Analysis Report, including:
- Outcome 1: Packaging Designed for Circularity
- Outcome 2: Improved Collection and Recycling Systems
- Outcome 3: Expanded Markets for Used Packaging.
The annual APCO awards ceremony will directly follow the summit, celebrating the organisations and individuals that are leading the way in sustainable packaging design and innovation.
