Buildings Energy Performance Summit

The Energy Efficiency Council is hosting the Buildings Energy Performance Summit on November 19, 2024 in Melbourne, Victoria.

The event will bring together key international and local experts for a day of vital discussions to help transform Australia’s houses, apartments and commercial buildings. Momentum is building for a renovation wave in houses, apartments and commercial buildings across the country. Energy efficiency and electrification are going mainstream, and governments are acting.

Key themes include:

• What are the practical actions needed over the next six years to meet the 2035 commitments? 
• How do we build the workforce? 
• What policies will transform buildings into assets for a renewables-dominated electricity grid? 
• And how do we deliver support that helps households and building owners trust retrofit models and suppliers?

Putting existing buildings squarely in the spotlight, the Buildings Energy Performance Summit will highlight the challenges and opportunities to be found in operational emissions and the retrofit challenge.
