AIRAH has partnered with Sydney Build to sponsor the HVAC&R sector of the event, taking place from May 7–8 at the ICC Sydney (International Convention and Exhibition Centre).
Considered Australia’s largest construction and design show, last year it had more than 25,000 attendees. AIRAH will be hosting a networking session and a workshop at the HVAC&R stage.
AIRAH Conference and Events Manager Marie Karekla says Sydney Build unites industry professionals including engineers, architects, contractors, and developers to foster collaboration on innovative HVAC&R solutions that meet evolving building standards and sustainability goals.
“As we shift toward energy-efficient and sustainable buildings, industry collaborations like this are essential because HVAC&R systems are crucial for optimising indoor air quality, thermal comfort, and overall building performance,” she says.
Sydney Build will include:
- 15 conference stages with 550+ speakers on multiple topics
- More than 600 exhibitors
- Continuing professional development opportunities
- Australia’s largest “festival of construction” with DJs, musicians, live performances, celebrity guests, entertainment and competitions
- An architect’s hub with project displays and 3D models of upcoming projects from leading architects
- Multiple networking events
- A government hub showcasing opportunities and planning across Australia.
“Sydney Build is a must-attend event for industry professionals, offering a unique platform for networking, learning, and business growth,” says Karekla.
“As Australia’s leading construction, architecture, and infrastructure expo, it brings together key decision-makers, suppliers, and innovators to showcase the latest technologies, trends, and solutions shaping the industry.”
