AIRAH will hold its Melbourne Central Industry Night on Tuesday, February 20, from 4–7pm. There will be 38 HVAC&R businesses exhibiting at the event, which will take place at Building 16 of RMIT’s Storey Hall on Swanston Street in Melbourne’s CBD.
AIRAH Member Services Officer Melanie Sibraa says Industry Nights serve as a chance for both exhibitors and attendees to network and make useful industry contacts.
“Exhibitors can expect to meet new prospects, shake hands with current customers, and increase their brand awareness and profile,” Sibraa says.
“This year we’ve introduced a ‘best exhibitor display’ prize to incentivise exhibitors to step up and challenge themselves to produce an exceptional display and stand out from the rest.”
There is also a prize for visitors – one attendee will win a $200 voucher. They must be registered and present for the 6pm prize draw.
Schedule
Before the event kicks off, there will be a panel discussion at 3.30pm chaired by David King, manager of RMIT’s air conditioning and refrigeration program. The four panellists are:
- Daniel Waack, Affil.AIRAH (A.G. Coombs)
- Jack Reesby, Affil.AIRAH (ISS)
- Pat Kiploks (Wrap Engineering)
- Joshua Seymour (RMIT).
Then, from 4–7pm, attendees can mingle and speak with exhibitors, while also enjoying complimentary drinks and canapes.
Registration is free through Eventbrite.
