The SAN-AIR technology has been awarded the Purple Tick accreditation, having satisfied the criteria for businesses that offer products or services that deliver high levels of performance in indoor public spaces. An independent organisation, the Purple Tick aims to build consumer and community confidence by promoting the safety and cleanliness of air conditioning systems.

According to SAN-AIR, the Purple Tick symbol is awarded to businesses that commit to rigorous and regular testing of their cooling and heating systems, inspected and independently tested by registered NATA-approved organisations to meet laboratory standards.

SAN-AIR says it has been actively promoting the need for clean indoor air across industries for many years.

“The SAN-AIR technology has undergone extensive independent laboratory testing, with products validated to kill 55 per cent of airborne microbes every half hour, providing easy compliance with AS/NZS 3666.3,” says the company.

“SAN-AIR V3R Commercial Grade Disinfectant (ARTG 341853) is the only TGA-listed product using 100 per cent plant actives and proven effective against COVID-19.”

The company describes itself as an advocate of regular and thorough maintenance of air conditioning systems in the home as well as in shared indoor environments.

“SAN-AIR provides a suite of products designed to work with air conditioning systems to provide high standards of indoor air quality.”
