Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Air-Conditioners Australia (MHIAA) has announced the launch of its innovative Ciara compact wall-mounted split system, complete with built in wi-fi control.
“With the decline in the urban sprawl and shift towards medium- and high-rise houses, consumers are increasingly favouring state-of-the-art finishes and appliances, compact designs, and energy efficiency. Air conditioners are no exception,” says Diana Dulevski, Affil.AIRAH, Product Manager for MHIAA.
“One of the unique things about the Italian-designed Ciara series is that it boasts intelligent new features, some of which usually only come as an optional extra,” Dulevski adds.
These features include:
- Built-in wi-fi adaptor
- Voice control compatibility with Google or Alexa
- Compact 1.5kW design, ideal for home offices or small rooms
- Easy-to-use remote control with backlight
- Demand response enabling device (DRED) available from 5.0kW and above.
“From its allergen clear operation and jet air technology – which utilises fan blade technology found in jet engines for high performance outputs – to its self-cleaning capabilities and its easy-to-use programmable timers, this series offers an extensive range of features and functions,” Dulevski says.
Ciara indoor units are available in two space-saving sizes, while the outdoor variant is available in three sizes. It’s available in 1.5kW, 2.0kW, 2.5kW, 3.3kW, 5.0kW, 6.3kW and 7.1kW capacities.
