Hitachi releases airCore 700 range

Hitachi has released its airCore 700 range of R32 single split systems designed for Australian businesses and homes. The split systems are designed to operate at ambient temperatures of up to 52°C.

The range features single split ducted, cassette, and ceiling-suspended ranges covering nominal cooling capacities from 5.0kW to 16.5kW.

All products in the range feature technology that automatically self-cleans the indoor heat exchanger, preventing a reduction in airflow. This system freezes the heat exchanger down to -15°C to trap pollutants and dust in ice, which then melts to flush them away with the condensate.

The airCore 700 range comes with a six-year warranty, as well as features to allow flexibility in system design and installation:

· -15°C to 52°C ambient temperature operating range

· FrostWash heat exchanger self-cleaning technology on indoor units

· Single and three-phase outdoor units (capacity dependent)

· Outdoor unit nominal cooling capacities from 5.0kW to 16.5kW

· 75m maximum pipe length and 30m maximum pipe lift

· Splitable ducted units with recessed electrical panels for easier roof installation

· High-static ducted units with external static pressure up to 310pa

· Mid-static ducted units to accommodate shorter duct runs with external static pressure up to 215pa

· Compact ducted unit heights between 270mm to 300mm

· Premium ducted modulating zoning kit for up to eight room controllers

· Award-winning silent iconic 4-way cassette fascia option

· Motion sensor option for all indoor units

· Advanced colour controller with energy consumption monitoring

· Wi-fi control using an optional adapter module
