Tackling Australia’s productivity challenges
The Productivity Commission is seeking public comment on five key productivity challenges until June 6.

The consultation consists of short questionnaires in five areas, all of which are connected to some degree with the HVAC&R sector.
Creating a more dynamic and resilient economy
Policy options that will incentivise investment, make the business environment more productive and foster entrepreneurship and innovation.
Building a skilled and adaptable workforce
Making it easier for workers and employers to adapt to a changing economy, including improving education outcomes and occupational entry regulations.
Harnessing data and digital technology
Building public confidence in data and technology and making it easier to unlock the benefits offered by new technology and AI.
Delivering quality care more efficiently
This includes options for improving ventilation and indoor air quality.
Investing in cheaper, cleaner energy and the net zero transformation
Delivering cheaper, cleaner and more reliable energy and adapting to the risks posed by a changing climate.
The input will feed into interim reports, to be released in July and August, which will then be open for written feedback.
