A-Gas has announced that its PyroPlas refrigerant destruction technology will soon be available in Australia and New Zealand.
The equipment is designed to deal with halons, hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) and mixtures of all previous generations of used refrigerant, as well as an increase in the prevalence of flammables.
A-Gas has operated PyroPlas in the US for more than 10 years. According to the company, the United Nations-approved, TEAP-certified technology delivers the industry’s highest guaranteed and proven destruction efficiency at a minimum of 99.9999 per cent.
After acquiring PyroPlas a year ago to expand its global life-cycle refrigerant management capabilities, A-Gas has developed the new equipment to give it a wider range of destruction capabilities.
“With the further development of PyroPlas units we are proud to offer the most complete refrigerant management capability in the world,” says A-Gas group commercial director Louise McCann. “We are committed to bringing this technology to the Asia-Pacific region to provide end-of life destruction services to our customers.”
