The City of Tea Tree Gully in South Australia is calling for tenders for HVAC replacement for the council civic centre library and associated offices.

The building was constructed in 1995 with a its lower ground floor later built in 2002 to accommodate the library. The original air conditioning systems consist of air-cooled heat pump and heat recovery ducted fan coil units.

The condensers are located within internal plant rooms with outside air louvres and ducted hot air discharge through the roof. The two condenser plant rooms are located in the south extension roof void and level one east in the main building.

The building has three levels of public space and office accommodation for council activities.

The building HVAC systems are based upon air-cooled R22 and R410A refrigerant heat pump air conditioning systems.
