Airmaster has entered into an agreement to acquire fire protection services company Celsius Fire and its Queensland operations Fire2U. The move strengthens Airmaster’s fire services capability, after its recent acquisition of Melbourne-based Specialised Fire Protection.
Airmaster says the latest acquisition will further grow its suite of in-house knowledge and expertise in fire services. Celsius Fire and Fire2U customers will continue to receive the level of service they are accustomed to, while the employees will have greater career path and professional growth opportunities through Airmaster – a company with 13 branches throughout Australia and New Zealand.
With more than 20 years of experience, Celsius Fire and Fire2U have a customer portfolio that includes both small and large facilities, including multi-state portfolios with government departments, hospitals and commercial office buildings. Between them, Celsius Fire and Fire2U have four offices across New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria.
Airmaster CEO Noel Courtney, M.AIRAH, says he is excited to welcome Celsius Fire and Fire2U to the Airmaster family and is looking forward to realising further success for all companies.
“Since 1988, Airmaster has continued to develop and evolve through considerable knowledge and experience in the technical services and facilities management industry,” says Courtney. “Through strong growth in Airmaster’s fire and essential safety capabilities, this further acquisition of a fire protection services business accelerates this within key geographies.”
Courtney has also welcomed Karen Hunt, Managing Director of Celsius Fire and Fire2U, and her team to Airmaster.
“We look forward to working together to deliver our enhanced, industry-leading solution to the market,” he says.
Airmaster Fire Managing Director Simon Rickard says he is enthusiastic about what Celsius Fire and Fire2U employees will bring to Airmaster by way of their skills, knowledge and attitudes.
“Karen is a success story in the fire protection services industry, with Celsius Fire and Fire2U viewed as being among Australia’s industry leaders,” says Rickard. “It is testament to Karen and her team the success they have collectively achieved. Airmaster looks forward to continuing to grow upon the high standard of service delivery that Celsius Fire and Fire2U have provided their customers over many years.”
Hunt, meanwhlile, says she is looking forward to being an integral part of the Airmaster team, and is excited by the growth opportunities for their existing customers, as well as potential new customers.
“By teaming up with Airmaster, we will be able to offer our customers an expanded service and product offering,” says Hunt. “It allows us to become an even more valuable partner to them. Our highly skilled workforce, added to Airmaster’s experience and resources in technical and building services, makes this an exciting time for us.
“We are thrilled to become a part of the Airmaster Group, an organisation that shares the same vision for client-centric solutions. We look forward to seeing the positive impact we will make together for our customers.”
Hunt and the 150 other employees will become Airmaster employees, while continuing to operate from their existing offices in Chatswood (NSW), Albury (NSW), Virginia (Queensland) and Clayton (Victoria).
