A2EP looks to fill board position

Kylie Hargreaves is stepping down as chair of the Australian Alliance for Energy Productivity (A2EP) after five years.

The A2EP board is inviting expressions of interest from candidates for the vacant chair position.

​A2EP describes this is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in providing guidance to a respected and impactful not-for-profit organisation focused on collaboration, innovation and the “how” decarbonisation and energy productivity.
 

​Role requirements

A2EP is looking for a candidate who meets the following requirements:

  • Appropriate experience in a non-executive chair role, or as a non-executive director
  • Experience as a non-executive director in a membership-based organisation
  • Extensive corporate governance skills, including an AICD (or similar) qualification.

Other highly desirable skills and experience would include:

  • Experience with government policy and working with government agencies
  • Experience in industrial decarbonisation, renewable energy, or other relevant area.

A2EP says it is preferable, though not essential, that the candidate be independent, and not linked to a current A2EP member.
