The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning is holding a free information session about the Victorian Energy Upgrades program in Melbourne on Monday, October 15. The program helps businesses and households cut power bills and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by providing access to discounted energy-efficient products and services.
The session will be an opportunity to learn more about the finalised Victorian Energy Efficiency Target Regulations. This will include the outcomes of the consultation process and the new and revised activities in the re-made regulations. The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning will walk attendees through the changes, and there will be an opportunity to ask questions.
The Department will also explain the legislative requirements and process to set targets for 2021 to 2025 and will seek initial feedback on the approach for the accompanying Regulatory Impact Statement (RIS).
Places are limited, and registrations will close on Thursday, October 11.
