Understanding acoustics and mechanical services 

AIRAH is hosting a Streamline webinar about acoustics and mechanical services.

This “acoustics 101” webinar will offer a basic understanding of key terminology and corresponding calculations; the standards/guidelines that govern acoustics criteria; basics of mechanical noise; good design tips/tricks; and lessons learnt.

Senior acoustic consultant from Resonate, Jake Werden, will present on the topic. His qualifications include a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering and affiliations with the Australian Acoustical Society and Engineers Australia, and he has worked in the sector since 2016.

He has also been involved in delivering technical manual reviews, EASE modelling, and Green Star/WELL-accredited solutions.

The online event is free for AIRAH members to attend, and costs $30 for non-members. It will be held from 12.30–1.30pm on Thursday, June 2.
