HVAC&R professionals invited to solar webinar

The IEA SHC Solar Academy and the International Solar Energy Society (ISES) invite Australian HVAC&R professionals to join a free webinar offering actionable knowledge on solar power.

The free webinar – which will be held on Wednesday, June 25 and repeated on Thursday, June 26 – will lead attendees on a deep dive into the latest edition of the Solar Heat Worldwide 2025 report, the IEA SHC Programme’s global market and technology overview for solar thermal energy.

According to ISES, it will offer a global perspective on solar thermal market trends and innovations. Attendees will learn how solar technologies are driving decarbonisation efforts in both industrial and residential sectors.

The webinar will highlight:

  • The latest market trends and global developments
  • The growing importance of solar heat for industrial processes (SHIP)
  • The proven impact of thermosyphon systems, especially in the global south.

ISES says the webinar will provide policymakers, engineers, energy planners, and researchers with actionable knowledge for deploying solar thermal solutions across a range of climate zones and use cases.
